Are Pears High In Carbs?

So what about pears? Are pears high in carbs?

Yes, pears do have a moderately high amount of carbohydrates. A medium sized pear not only has 27.5 grams of total carbohydrates, but 96% of the total calories from the fruit is coming from the carbs.

This means that pears should definitely be avoided if you are trying to keep your carbohydrate intake low.
