Are Blueberries Self-Pollinating?

Technically-speaking blueberries are for the most part self-pollinating. This means that there are certain kinds of blueberries which are able to produce fruit with just one plant present. Even though this is sometimes the case, it would be much easier to grow these berries using cross-pollination, meaning several different plants.

When you do this you are bound to grow them faster as well as producing larger size berries. Those who wish to grow their own blueberries will want to remember that it would be a good idea to use at least two or more blueberry bushes at once for the most ideal results.
