Lobster can be prepared in a number of different ways, including boiling, steaming, and grilling. As far as boiling your lobster is concerned, you will want to first get a very large pot that comes with a lid as you will need it. Pour an adequate amount of water into the pot so that the lobster is completely covered. Put in about two tablespoons of sea salt for every two liters of water there is in the pot; this will help add to the flavor a little bit.
Make sure that the water is at a fool boil and then you will need to take the lobster behind its claws and put it into the boiling water headfirst. You will need to make sure that the pot is covered when the water starts to boil again. Keep the lobster in the boiling water for around ten minutes for the first one pound and tack on another three minutes for every other pound. This will help you to make sure that your lobster is cooked all the way through so you will really be able to enjoy it. After your lobster has been cooked all the way, you will be able to drain it and serve it up hot with some butter.
