Do Deer Eat Blueberries or Blueberry Bushes?

Deer love to eat blueberries and sometimes they ingest part of the bushes which can cause serious harm to their bodies. Those who are growing blueberries near their home should take certain preventative measures to ensure that their bushes stay intact. One of the most effective ways to go about protecting blueberry bushes from deer involves putting up fencing around them.

Another way to make sure that your blueberries and the bushes are not harmed by deer is to use certain deterrents which can be applied directly to the blueberry bushes. While this does not guarantee that the bushes will not be harmed, it can be an effective way to prevent them from being eaten by deer or other local wildlife. Some gardeners put other plants around their blueberry bushes to discourage deer from eating them, though this method does not always work either.
