Can Tomatoes Cause Headaches?

Certain foods that have a high level of acid in them have been known to trigger headaches, although that is certainly not always the case. There are some people who have claimed to have their headaches worsen after consuming tomatoes while others remain unaffected.

If you have problems with serious headaches aka migraines, you might want to limit your tomato consumption or avoid them altogether.

While tomatoes are certainly good for the body in a number of ways, they have been known to intensify headaches in certain people, most likely because of their acidic nature, much like a number of other fruits and vegetables.
