Because cucumbers have quite a bit of water in them, they can be somewhat difficult to fry. There are quite a few recipes that call for deep fried cucumbers though and they certainly make a good snack.

If you want to make deep fried cucumbers, there are a few things you are going to need, including about four of this vegetable, salt and pepper, two eggs, one cup of dry bread crumbs, and some bacon drippings.

You will want to season the cucumbers with the salt and pepper, dripping the slices into the egg and then the bread crumbs. These are meant to be served hot and can make for a very nice side dish to many meals.
