Although there is still a lot of debate surrounding the issue of whether or not there is a link between acne and diet, certain studies have provided solid evidence that consuming a large quantity of dairy products is connected with acne to some degree. While consumption of butter may not necessarily cause acne in the first place, it may be able to worsen it in certain people with this particular skin problem.
These studies have shown that milk in particular has the potential to cause problems with acne as well as butter. Everyone, not just those with acne, will want to think about limiting their butter consumption because of the fact that it contains so much fat. While this may be true, it doesn’t contain any trans-fat or carbs which people who are on a diet usually try to avoid as much as possible.
