Are Cucumbers Bad For Cats?

While cucumbers are not part of a cat’s natural diet, it is acceptable to feed them this vegetable from time to time. If you do feed your cats cucumbers, you should do some in moderation. There is absolutely nothing wrong with changing things up with regards to their diet with certain fruits and vegetables, but you do not want to overdo it.

Cucumbers contain a fairly high amount of natural sugar but are one of the non-starchy vegetables, meaning that they are okay for both people and animals like cats to eat, but only in moderation. This vegetable is also high in sodium so it should be consumed only once in a while.
